Christmas 2009!

So if you've ever wondered who gets to decorate stores for the Christmas and how long it takes to make certain displays, let me answer those questions for you...
-it took about 100 hours to transform our store from fall to Christmas in early November.
-after the store got decorated it took an army of 10 people 6 weeks to maintain the Christmas Cheer.
-this army came in at 9pm and stayed until 7am to stock, clean and move freight all over the store so that when the doors opened the store looked perfect.
-our fireplace took about 20 minuets to make and 30 minuets to get up on the cap shelf (we had a lot of fun with that one).
-when Christmas was over on the 26th it took a week to tear down and find all the Christmas decor and merchandise we had displayed all throughout the store.
- So if I haven't been in contact with many of you for several months, now you can have a visual of what Amanda does at work, and why she is never home:)
